The Community Welfare System framework is shaped by decades of community wisdom, organizing tradition, and the people who came before us. These are the books we studied, movements we learned from, and the traditions we are building on. We are not reinventing the wheel. We are learning what the wheel can do and building infrastructure around it.

THE FRAMEWORK
This work is not new. Communities have built systems of care and survival for generations, often when institutions failed them. What we offer here is informed by that history and shaped by what we've learned doing this work ourselves through Seeds Worth Sowing.
We believe that communities building their own systems of care should have access to the tools and language to do it well.
